William Shatner Lands Second Bio Channel Series

William Shatner has scored his second series on the Bio Channel.

The Star Trek alum, who already hosts the offbeat Bio celebrity interview series Shatner's Raw Nerve, will interview memorable newsmakers on his latest creation, Shatner's Aftermath, the network announced.

The series will examine ordinary Americans who became overnight household names — such as Jessica Lynch, the D.C. sniper victims and Mary Kay Letourneau — and what their lives are like now. Shatner will speak with the personalities and their family members.

Shatner's Aftermath, which has been picked up for six episodes, is slated to premiere in the fall, while Shatner's Raw Nerve will return for Season 3 in the winter. Viewers might be seeing three times the Shatner by then: His CBS pilot Sh-- My Dad Says is under consideration for next season.

In addition to Shatner's Aftermath, Bio ordered two more new series: I Survived...Beyond and Back, which features people who have flatlined and come back to life, and My Ghost Story, where people recount their documented paranormal experiences.
