An estimated 500 people were out in force Saturday to pick up some memorabilia from the now-closed "Star Trek: The Experience" attraction at the Las Vegas Hilton. The sale was held in a northeast valley storage facility, as Trekkies looked over such items as Romulan costumes, a Borg recharging station and a plastic replica of the Starship Voyager. The replicas and set pieces that were available had been in storage since "The Experience" closed in 2008, after an eleven-year run. If you missed this weekend's sale, you still have another chance to pick up some "Star Trek" memories. A larger asset sale, including a live auction, will be held this August during the annual convention of "Star Trek" fans at the Las Vegas Hilton.
