- New book 'Star Trek: The Art of the Film' hits shelves next week, so we got in touch with publishers Titan Books to see if we could bag some exclusive shots from the tome.
And low and behold they sorted us out with some impressive concept art showcasing designs for Narada, the Romulan spaceship in the film.
According to the book, production designer Chambliss - contemplating the scariest thing in space - gazed at the point of a kitchen knife and imagined 500 gigantic knife-edges points.
"That's how the Romulan ship developed" Chambliss explains. "With a kitchen knife and the twisted imagination of [lead designer] James Clyne."
The book is chock-full of beautiful shots like these, so make sure you check it out when it hits on November 17.
