There were so many exciting and interesting people at last weekends "Star Trek" Convention. I have tons of stories to put out about actors, products and events.
Of great interest to myself and Las Vegas "Star Trek" fans is that Vegas has it's own chapter of "International Federation of Trekkers".
Their website explains their mission here in Las Vegas. They focus on "community involvement, as well as maintaining the ideals set forth by the Late Great Bird of the Galaxy, Gene Roddenberry".
Some of their community efforts include, Adopt-a-highway refuse collection, Jerry Lewis Telethon, and Robert Picardo's Habitat for Humanity Charity Auction.
They also have "crew away missions". Movie nights, Holiday Parties and of course they participate in the annual "Star Trek" convention.
Their next "Crew meeting" will be held Wednesday August 19th at the "Planet Hollywood" restaurant, THIS IS NOT AT THE CASINO, it is at the "Forum Shops".
It's free to attend, you just need to pay for your own meal.
Go, and have fun.
