If you're a Star Trek fan who's excited to take command of your own starship when Star Trek Online launches on Feb. 2, 2010, then GameStop has just given you a very good reason to get a little more impatient. The site has released the contents of the collector's edition, and it contains a ton of goodies for $79.99.
The deluxe packaging will be filled with a hardbound art book, a cast metal communicator badge, guest passes to get your friends in the game, in-game "Next Generation" and "Deep Space Nine" uniforms, and an in-game Red Matter Capacitor that gives your ship a boost of energy for a short time. In addition, players who pre-order Star Trek Online through GameStop will get an exclusive in-game Starfleet Constitution Class Starship, as well as access to the beta and the two-day head start program.
