J.J. ABRAMS' 'STAR TREK' GOES WHERE NO 'TREK' HAS GONE BEFORE

LOCATION: USS Enterprise

THE SKINNY: J.J. Abrams has a lot to be proud of these days. Between CLOVERFIELD, STAR TREK, LOST and his latest hit show FRINGE, he's made quite a name for himself.

His STAR TREK revival has managed to gross a whopping $258 Million domestically. Which, for the record, is five-times more than what STAR TREK: NEMESIS made in its theatrical run. It's also more than any TREK film to date has grossed in the box office.

In short, not only did Abrams manage to revive a franchise that most would have left for dead, he brought it back kicking and screaming.

So next time you're around J.J. Abrams, and find yourself asking "What's that smell?," the answer is "Money."

Lots and lots of money।
