What a great day at the "Star Trek convention"!! It all started for me with a panel called "Klingon Salute with Tony Todd". On the panel with Tony were Suzie Plakson (K'Ehlyr,) John Schuck (many ST parts,) Spice Williams-Crosby (also well know to trekkies),William Morgan Sheppard was also there, he was signing autographs and I didn't get to see him. Panel for Klingon fans.Photo/Terra King John Schuck Photo/Terra King After the Klingon Panel, I wondered into the convention center's vendors room. I expected to see lots of cool memorabilia...and I did. I also found several familiar faces. Kane Hodder, the only man to have played "Jason" more than once. He has some new films coming up that I will keep you informed about on my Indie Movie examiner page. Cindy Pickett who was Ferris Bueller's mother. After I got home I learned of John Hughe's death and felt bad for Cindy. I am sorry for her lose. Vernon G. Wells, Mad Max and Weird Science. Hughes also directed Weird Science. His life touched so many. Left is actress Vitna Marcus (Lost in Space episode entitled; The Girl from the Green Dimension.) Right is her daughter, Athena, (named for the character her mother played on "Lost in Space". Athena's dad is actor Rory Calhoun. Two very gracious ladies. There were several other autograph ops. Also , "Resistance to Bingo is futile" for those who love bingo with their Star Trek. Later tonight will be a dinner and party for Gold weekend patrons. A lot of the autograph tickets are going fast, there are stars galore to be seen. There are photo ops for every show. This is going to be a great weekend.
