Corning Community College will offer a Star Trek Voyage 7 p.m. Oct. 10 at the planetarium on the Spencer Hill campus. Debbie Dann, associate professor of astronomy and geology, will tell stories about constellations, show sights through a telescope and give some history of the college’s Palomar scale-model telescope, according to a news release. There will also be a planetarium show and a short tour of the CCC Observatory, where refreshments will be served. A short hike will follow to Amelia Pond for more star-gazing, the release says. The cost is $7 per person. To preregister, call Spencer Crest Nature Center at (607) 962-9012 by Oct. 8.
