Couple to Wed in Franklin Institute's Star Trek Exhibit

Next Sunday, a couple will be married at the Franklin Institute, boldly going where no one has gone before.

When Brad Siegel and Kate Erwin tie the knot next weekend, it certainly won't be your typical wedding:

"A wedding on the bridge of the Enterprise."

The USS Enterprise of Star Trek fame, as the couple won a contest through the Franklin Institute:

"She's going to be wearing a crimson wedding gown, a fairly traditional kind of look. I, myself, will be in a Star Fleet dress uniform."

Kate's originally from Phoenixville, while Brad's from North Jersey, but the two met at a Star Trek convention in Chicago, and Brad proposed a year later on stage at another convention.
